The maritime folk group 'Brise-Glace' consists of two Bretons and two Québécois. Since 2014, they have performed on various stages and festivals in Quebec, the Maritime provinces, the United States, France, the Netherlands, and England.
Armed with a guitar, a banjo, an accordion, and four voices, they revisit the traditional and contemporary maritime folk repertoire from both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.
The result is a joyful blend of traditions from both old and new continents, intertwining the daily life of sailors with the imaginative world inherited from the sea.
